Editing Configuration Settings in Outlook 2016

Select File:


Select Account Settings and then Account Settings... from drop-down:


Select applicable email from list (single click) and then select Repair:


Select Advanced options and then check the box for "Let me repair my account manually" and then select Repair:


Update the Incoming mail Settings:

  • User name: full email address
  • Password: password associated with your email address
  • Check box for Remember password
  • Server: mail.vacationport.net
  • Port: 995
  • Check box for This server requires an encrypted connection (SSL/TLS)


Select Outgoing mail and update the outgoing mail settings:

  • Server: mail.vacationport.net
  • Port: 465
  • Encryption method: SSL/TLS
  • Check box for My outgoing (SMTP) server requires authentication
  • Select radio button for Use same settings as my incoming mail server


Select Next


Select Done
