Editing Configuration Settings in Outlook 2016

1. Select 'File':


2. Select 'Account Settings' and then 'Account Settings...' from the drop-down menu:


3. Select applicable email from list (single click) and then select 'Repair':


4. Select 'Advanced options' and then check the box for 'Let me repair my account manually' and then select 'Repair':


5. Update the Incoming mail Settings:


  • User name: Full email address
  • Password: Password associated with your email address
  • Check box for Remember password
  • Server: mail.vacationport.net
  • Port: 995
  • Check box for This server requires an encrypted connection (SSL/TLS)


6. Select Outgoing mail and update the outgoing mail settings:


  • Server: mail.vacationport.net
  • Port: 465
  • Encryption method: SSL/TLS
  • Check box for My outgoing (SMTP) server requires authentication
  • Select radio button for Use same settings as my incoming mail server


6. Select 'Next', then 'Done'
