Mac Mail Configuration Instructions
- Open Mac Mail
- Select Mail at the top left and the select Add Account
- Select Other Mail Account and then Continue
- Enter the following information as shown below and select Sign in:
- Name: your name
- Email Address: your full NexCite email address
- Password: the password assigned to your NexCite email account
- Enter the following information as shown below and select Sign in:
- User Name: your full NexCite email address
- Account Type: POP3
- Incoming Mail Server: mail.vacationport.net
- Outgoing Mail Server: mail.vacationport.net
- Your account verification will begin. If you get a message that the password could not be sent securely, click continue. Once verification is complete, select Done.
- Select Mail at the top left and the select Preferences
- Select Accounts, and select your NexCite email account from the account list on the left. Select Server Settings
- Enter SMTP Server settings as follows and select OK:
- Outgoing Mail Server: mail.vacationport.net
- Server port: 465
- Check box to use Secure Sockets Layer (SSL)
- Authentication: Password
- User Name: your full NexCite email address
- Password: the password assigned to your NexCite email account
- Select the Advanced tab
- Enter the advanced settings as follows:
- Check box to Remove copy from server after retrieving a message
- Port: 995
- Check box to use SSL
- Authentication: None
- Close Accounts box. Configuration is complete
